In the fall of 2025, I was asked to do the product photography for the Mizzou Store Lululemon fall/winter capsule. I love product photography, but I also love a good portmanteau. As I was in contact with the creative team we were working with from Mizzou Store, I just started saying "Mizzoululemon" and now I can't get it out of my head. You can't deny it's fun to say.
The inspiration for this ad came from a climbing trip that I took in 2023. It was late October in Arkansas and the overnight temps were plummeting. I'm not a regular camper, so I was just wearing my NB 990s. My friend Zach, on the other hand, had his Thermoball slides; and he looked snug as a bug. I snapped this photo of him taking a nap in the truck we were camping out of, and the copy came to me later.
This is pulled from a project from my strategic writing class. This campaign was for Shinola watches in Detroit. I needed headlines and taglines that went as hard as they go in Detroit, and I think we ended up with just that.
Ad pulled from a mock campaign to advertise watching the Olympics live on Peacock. Tagline "Join the Legend"
Album redesign project for my J1200 Class
As a lifelong Mizzou fan, it's always bothered me that people say the lion is the king of the jungle. Lions don't live in the jungle! They have no claim to the crown whatsoever! I can only attribute this deception to "Big Lion"s propaganda machine in order to advance their nefarious purposes. Tirade and conspiracy aside, this ad was born out of my lifelong frustration with an old adage.
